Description
These are 3D printed replacement/upgrade lids that we have designed to fit the Exo Terra Mini 12x12x12 and 12x12x18 and 12x12x24 front opening terrariums. They will not fit any other brand of tank. Check our shop for the Zoo Med fitting series of lids.
With our New Design (ET series), the lid comes is printed in one piece like our Nano lids, and comes to you preassembled with the 8″x10″ acrylic installed and the mesh built into the frame front and back. These lids are designed to be a more all-in-one lid. The lid also has a hole in the front center and two holes in the back corners. They come with a flush, screw-in plug. You can purchase a feeder screw cap, cord pass-through caps, or misting nozzle adapters as well in our shop and swap them in where the plugs reside. You can also optionally purchase a solid insert kit, for those who need high humidity. The kit is solid strips of plastic that fit into the space where the mesh vents are and can be secured using the included clips in order to block airflow. If you want to install misting nozzles you can purchase our misting nozzle adapters which change the hole size from just under 1″ to a standard misting nozzle size of 5/8″. Additional adapters and feeder caps are also available separately.
We also sell the Nano 8×8, Small 18×18, Medium 24×18, Large 36×18 and Frogs & Co 18×18 in our shop, as well as the Zoo Med series of lids (coming in second half of January 2024), and will have other sizes and lids for other brands available in future, so please feel free to follow us.
Contact me directly if you want to do a large order or have questions.
Also please be sure that your Exo Terra isn’t one of the very old models that had a different latching system for their lid. Your terrarium needs to have the half circle latches on top for our lid to fit. This rarely is an issue as they changed this style quite a while ago, but there are still some old terrariums out there.
If you need something customized for your lid, you can contact us. We MAY be able to accommodate your request, possibly even for free if it isn’t something that will take me long. Possibly for a fee if it will take a little time.
Tom’s Big Spiders uses and loves our lids.
