This 3D printed replacement lid kit is designed to fit the Zoo Med Naturalistic Terrarium, model NT-25DW, which measures 30"L x 12"W x 16"H and features two front-opening doors.

🧩 Kit Components & Design
This is a do-it-yourself assembly kit, including all required 3D-printed parts and hardware. You’ll need to provide your own glass center panel, unless you choose the acrylic-included option.
The lid is made up of four main pieces:
One bar for each side
A front and back bar featuring our fine 3D-printed mesh
These four pieces snap together easily to form the lid frame. Your glass (or acrylic) insert is secured using plastic pressure tabs — no tools required. This design creates a sleek, all-in-one upgrade to the original Zoo Med lid.
🪟 Glass or Acrylic Options
You can choose between:
DIY Glass Insert (recommended for humid setups): Glass is not included, but can be easily cut to size at Lowe’s or most hardware stores — typically for free.
Acrylic Insert Option (convenient, pre-included): Our acrylic inserts are 3/32" thick (stronger than the 1/16" used in smaller lids). Acrylic is best for species in low to moderate humidity environments. For high humidity animals, we recommend using glass instead, as acrylic can warp with prolonged moisture.
Glass opening: 13 1/8" x 8" Recommended glass size: 13 1/16" x 7 15/16" (1/16" smaller for a perfect fit with the 5mm lip)
Compatible glass types:
3/32" regular glass (standard and recommended)
1/8" or tempered glass (optional)
⚠️ Safety tip: When handling freshly cut glass, sand the edges lightly with fine-grit sandpaper to remove sharp edges.
The insert — whether glass or acrylic — is held in securely using included plastic pressure tabs.
⚙️ Functional Features
Each lid includes six pre-threaded holes — one in the front center, one in the back center, and one in each corner. Each hole comes with a flush screw-in plug (not shown in photos but comes standard) and can be customized with optional accessories:
Misting nozzle adapters: Fit standard-size misting nozzles perfectly (nozzles not included)
Feeder caps: Allow easy feeding or watering without opening the enclosure
Cord pass-through caps: For routing cables or tubing through the lid while maintaining a tight seal
Solid vent inserts: Install under the lid, over the mesh to block airflow through the vents for high-humidity enclosures
You can also leave all holes capped for a clean, sealed appearance.

Each vent section includes fine 3D-printed mesh that:
Won’t rust or corrode
Is safe for tarantulas and other small species (no toe-catching)
Is fine enough to prevent fruit flies and other small insects from escaping
Optional solid vent inserts are available as an accessory kit. These plastic strips install under the lid, over the mesh, using the included tabs to block airflow when needed — perfect for maintaining high humidity.
