This 3D printed replacement lid kit is designed to fit the following Zoo Med front-opening terrariums and paludariums:

🪴 Terrarium not included.
If your terrarium has double front doors (models NT-6P, NT-32DW, or NT-40DW),
you will need two lids to cover the entire tank — each lid fits one side.
This is a DIY assembly kit that includes all required 3D-printed parts (except glass).
Assembly takes just a few minutes — everything snaps together without tools.
Each lid consists of four main bars:
One for each side
A front and back bar featuring our fine 3D-printed mesh for ventilation
The four bars snap together to form a sturdy frame.
Your glass center panel (not included) is held securely with plastic pressure tabs.
This design provides a clean, integrated, all-in-one lid and replaces the need for bulky or multi-part frames.
These lids are made to fit Zoo Med tanks only — they are not compatible with other brands or unlisted models.

Each lid includes six threaded holes — one at the front center, one at the back center, and one in each corner — each fitted with a flush screw-in cap.
You can customize these holes in several ways:
Misting nozzle adapters (optional): for installing standard-size misting nozzles (nozzles not included).
Feeder caps (optional): allow easy feeding or watering without opening the doors.
Cord pass-through caps (optional): for routing cords cleanly through the lid.
Solid vent inserts (optional): can be installed beneath the mesh to block airflow for high-humidity setups.
Or simply leave all holes capped for a sealed, clean look.
To avoid shipping damage and extra cost, the glass insert is not included.
You can easily have glass cut to size at Lowe’s or other local hardware stores — often at no charge.
Glass opening: 14" x 16"
Recommended glass size: 13 15/16" x 15 15/16" (slightly smaller for a proper fit around the 5mm lip)
Compatible glass thicknesses:
Standard 3/32" glass (recommended)
1/8" or tempered glass (optional)
⚠️ Safety tip: Freshly cut glass edges can be sharp. Sand the edges lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before installation.
The glass is held in place securely using the included plastic pressure tabs.
Each vent section includes built-in fine 3D-printed mesh that:
Won’t rust or corrode
Prevents fruit flies from escaping
Is safe for tarantulas (no risk of catching toes or claws)
Optional solid vent inserts can be installed over the mesh to eliminate airflow for maximum humidity control.
Designed exclusively for Zoo Med models NT-3 through NT-6P and related paludariums.
Not compatible with Exo Terra, Zilla, or other brands (though we may expand to other brands in the future).
If your lid doesn’t seem to slide back fully, check for excess silicone in the back tank corners — trimming this away usually resolves the issue.
