This 3D printed replacement lid kit is custom-designed to fit the Zoo Med 10-Gallon Naturalistic Terrarium (Model NT-10DW) — the version with front-opening double doors. It will not fit the standard Zoo Med 10-gallon tank with a sliding top lid.

🧩 Kit Components & Design
This is a DIY assembly kit that includes all required 3D-printed parts and hardware. Assembly takes only a few minutes — simply snap the pieces together and secure your glass panel with the provided pressure tabs.
The lid consists of two main pieces:
A front bar and a back bar, both with built-in fine 3D-printed mesh for ventilation
Once assembled, the lid forms a clean, sturdy frame designed as an all-in-one upgrade to the original factory lid.
⚙️ Functional Features
Each lid includes six pre-threaded holes — one in the front center, one in the back center, and one in each corner. Each hole comes with a flush screw-in plug (not shown in photos but comes standard) and can be customized with optional accessories:
Misting nozzle adapters – allow a standard-sized misting nozzle to pass through perfectly (nozzle not included)
Feeder caps – let you feed or water without opening the enclosure
Cord pass-through caps – create a tighter, cleaner fit for cords or tubing
Solid vent inserts – install under the lid, over the mesh to block airflow for maintaining high humidity
All holes can also remain capped for a clean, sealed appearance.
🪟 Glass Panel (Not Included)
The lid does not include the glass insert, due to shipping cost and breakage risk. You can easily have glass cut to size at Lowe’s or another local hardware store — typically for free.
Glass opening size: just over 18" x 6" Recommended cut size: 18" x 6" (fits neatly with the lip clearance)
Compatible glass thicknesses:
3/32" regular glass (standard and recommended)
1/8" or tempered glass (optional)
⚠️ Safety tip: Sand freshly cut glass edges lightly with fine-grit sandpaper to remove sharpness before installation. The glass is secured in place using the included plastic pressure tabs.
🕸️ Mesh Ventilation
Each vent section features fine 3D-printed plastic mesh that:
Won’t rust or corrode
Is safe for tarantulas and small reptiles (no toe-catching)
Is fine enough to prevent fruit flies and other tiny insects from escaping
Optional solid vent inserts are available as a kit. These are solid plastic strips that install under the lid, over the mesh, and are held in place with clips to block airflow when higher humidity is desired.

Designed exclusively for the Zoo Med NT-10DW 10-gallon Naturalistic Terrarium (20"L x 10"W x 12"H).
Not compatible with other brands or with tanks that have sliding top lids.
For Exo Terra or other models, check our ET Series lids in the shop.
We currently do not produce Zilla lids, though we may in the future.

💡 Tip: Some tanks have a small excess of silicone in the back corners that may need to be trimmed for the lid to slide back fully. If your lid doesn’t seat properly, check for that first.
